The Secret Tomb is a hidden endgame area under Dune Burrow in Catch Bugs. Carry Crescent Wing Butterfly, Wasp Moth and Spiny Harvestman at the same time, then enter the rocky tunnel between the Potion Traders and the waterfall to unlock it. Inside you find the Anpu NPC, the Bone Net (200,000,000 cash) and exotic spawns including Undead Scorpion, Thousand Scorpion and the Secret Tomb Swarm.

You only unlock the Catch Bugs Secret Tomb when you carry all three of these bugs in your inventory at the same time. Each comes from a different zone and each one matters for vivarium income too — do not sell them after you finish the Secret Tomb run.

Catch Bugs Secret Tomb entrance — step by step

The Catch Bugs Secret Tomb tunnel itself is in Dune Burrow, but it only opens for players carrying the three Secret Tomb keys above. Follow these steps in order.

1. Spawn in Dune Burrow.
2. Walk toward the Potion Traders / net upgrade area.
3. Head right toward the waterfall.
4. Between the large rock and the waterfall, look for a small rocky tunnel / nook.
5. With all three key bugs in your inventory, walk into the tunnel — the Secret Tomb opens automatically.

Inside the Secret Tomb — Anpu, Bone Net, Undead spawns

Once the Secret Tomb opens, the first NPC you meet is Anpu. Anpu sells the signature Catch Bugs Bone Net — 200,000,000 cash, with roughly 1,877 more luck than the Scorpion Net at the cost of strength and weight capacity. The Bone Net is built for chasing rare and elusive spawns, both inside the Secret Tomb and back in the cave biomes.

The Bone Net trade-off

If you want raw strength for big-bug captures, keep using the Scorpion Net instead. Many Catch Bugs endgame players carry both nets and swap between them depending on whether they're chasing Undead Scorpion swarms (Bone) or single high-weight catches (Scorpion).

• Have at least a Royal Net or higher before farming the three key bugs
• Keep the three key bugs in your inventory — do not sell them before entering
• Unlock vivarium upgrades to bank offline cash for the Bone Net (200M)
• Bring a Scorpion Net (250M) or stronger if you want to capture every Secret Tomb spawn

Common Secret Tomb mistakes

• Selling Crescent Wing Butterfly because of its high price — keep it
• Trying to enter Moon Hollow before in-game 6:30 PM and missing Crescent Wing Butterfly
• Buying the Bone Net before unlocking the tomb — Anpu only spawns inside

The Secret Tomb sits between the mid-game cave grind and the April-2026 desert endgame. By the time you can comfortably hold three Secret Tomb keys you'll already have a Royal Net and a stocked vivarium; the Secret Tomb gives you the Bone Net, the Anpu cash sink, and a long rotation of Undead Scorpion spawns to fund later net upgrades like the Scorpion Net (250,000,000) or the April-2026 Dark Matter and Nuclear nets.
